Historical Analysis in the IB can be scary!
Just remember OPVL!
"When considering OPVL for your sources of evidence, think about what type of source you are evaluating. A WWII-era fork and spoon are very different than a letter written home by a WWII soldier. Both sources are valid but you'll have to consider different questions for OPVL."
~Mr. Hyer

ReplyDeleteThe Origin of this source is a blog entry written by Ms. Lynch on 25th March 2013.
The Purpose of this text is to inform IB Students about the appropriate method of writing the IB OPVL.
This source is valuable as it is written by an experienced IB teacher. Furthermore, this source gives examples and sample answers for reference.
A limitation of this source is that it is not current, the blog entry is slightly old. Another limitation is that some people who have commented here have no sense of what's going on and like to simply thrash bad words onto the wonderful blog.
